Would you pay $175 for a hamburger? I'm sure some schmuck would, just to get the bragging rights. A restaurant in New York City, the Wall Street Burger Shoppe has this expensive burger on their menu. So lets see what the ingredients are in this $175 burger. It has Kobe beef patty, lots of black truffles, seared foie gras, aged Gruyere cheese, wild mushrooms and flecks of gold leaf on a brioche bun. Hmm, no wonder it costs an arm and a leg! The restaurant said that they sell about 20 - 25 of this expensive burger per month compared to the thousands of their regular hamburger which costs $4. Let me think, if I have to choose between a $175 burger and a $175 handbag...uhmmm, I'll choose the handbag thank you.
