What a stunning shot! The colors, the mountains, the MOON! Wow! Quite impressive!
I am new to the SkyWatch team, so my name isn't even listed there yet. However, I am "helping" already and just wanted to kindly remind you to please put a link back to the SkyWatch blog in your SkyWatch posts. (http://skyley.blogspot.com.)
Thank you for contributing to SkyWatch. This one is definitely a worthy contribution!
Thanks for all your comments. This is my first entry to Skywatch and I hope I can participate every week. :o)
@Arija We stayed in Wengen on our way to go up to the Jungfraujoch (Top of Europe). It takes more then 2 hrs to get to the top from Wengen and being that the weather up in the mountains can change so fast, we want to get a head start. If we stayed in Interlaken, we run the risk of the weather turning bad by the time we get to the top of the mountain. I hope it makes sense with my explanation. LOL Thanks.
@Foong Thanks Foong! This is my favorite photo I took in Wengen. I remember waking up in the middle of the night and saw the moonlight shining through the window. Then upon waking up early the next day, I saw this and am glad I took a picture.
Really stunning picture from the high mountains of Switzerland. Love the moon going down. Superb!
