This week's theme: Ruin(ed)
Roman bath ruins in Trier, Germany. This is the Empireal Baths, which means the public were not allowed. It's only for those
in the upper hierarchy of the Roman Empire.
Trier is Germany's oldest city and has a lot of Roman ruins. It is located in the Mosel valley where the Riesling originated.

Remarkable that it is still standing and looks so good!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot...I'd like to visit there some day.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Barbarah. I think the German government is big on preservation and has enough resources to preserve this great piece of structure; no wonder it is contributing to the preservation of the Angkor Wat temples in Cambodia.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful old ruins. Welcome to photohunt!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful place to be able to explore!
ReplyDeleteI did Photo Hunt today, too. I hope you get a chance to visit and leave your link!
