Lower and Lower and ?

Wow, I cannot believe it when I saw the price of gas at the pump. I have not seen it this low since...I cannot even remember. These photos were taken at the same day. It was $2.10 when I drove the kids to school and when I was on my way to pick them up 7 hours later, it went down $0.03. It was even lower the other day, I saw it at $2.01 at the same station. At the Stop and Shop, it was less than $2.00. So, if the gas prices went down, how come food prices didn't?

  1. yeah, the gas price really went down. it's $1.79 here in central illinois and we're loving it! and i have the same questions on the foods. especially the rice. the bag of botan rice is now $18.39 and it's hurts! :( hope it will roll back too! :)

    kind regards!

  4. I'm not complaining but it seems like the gas prices went down too sharply? Hopefully it continues to go down and stay down :) and hopefully this is not an indication that the insurance rates will go up soon. I also hope the car companies will continue to strive for alternative fuel/energy efficient cars.... I agree with Debbie where is the media?
